These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Book Fit Conversation and your scheduling of and participation in a free consultation call (together, the "Services") offered by Al Qalam Academy Inc., doing business as Al Qalam Academy ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. The Free Consultation Call

The consultation call is a free, no-obligation conversation to discuss our programs, answer your questions, and help you determine whether Al Qalam Academy is a good fit for your family. The call takes place by phone or video conference at the time you select during booking.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book a call. If you are inquiring on behalf of a student, you represent that you are the student's parent or legal guardian or are otherwise authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

Appointments are booked through our online calendar. You may reschedule or cancel your appointment using the links provided in your confirmation email. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible. If you miss your appointment or join more than 10 minutes late, we may ask you to rebook for a later time. We may occasionally need to reschedule a call ourselves and will notify you as soon as possible if so.

4. Communications

By booking a call, you agree to receive appointment-related communications — confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups — by email, phone, and text message at the contact information you provide, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, and you may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or purchase.

5. No Application, Admission, or Enrollment

Booking or attending a consultation call does not constitute an application to, admission to, or enrollment in any program. Enrollment is subject to our separate admissions process, enrollment agreement, and tuition terms. Program details, availability, schedules, and pricing discussed during a call are provided for general information and may change until confirmed in writing.

6. Educational Information Only

Information provided during the call and on our pages is general educational information. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical, or psychological advice, and it is not a guarantee of any particular academic outcome, credit transfer, or acceptance by any other institution.

7. Call Recording

Some calls may be recorded for quality, training, or note-taking purposes. Where recording occurs, you will be notified at or before the start of the call and may decline to be recorded.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our pages and any materials shared during or after the call — including text, graphics, logos, program and curriculum descriptions, and documents — are our property or used with permission, and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by booking appointments in bad faith, providing false information, interfering with our systems, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to decline or cancel appointments at our discretion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Qalam Academy Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
